My First Post

Ahoj!

Here it is my very first update on this Czech adventure. It is official. I started the fundraising process today and I cannot be more excited! I have already received heart warming messages. I can see God in all of this.

Funny story. As I was preparing to start the fundraising process and getting some paperwork back to JV(Josiah Venture) I had to send a check into them to hold my spot. Well, I didn't have the money at the time to send them the check. My dad was teasing around with me and telling me how INCREDIBLY lucky I was that he was going to support me... you know how dad mess with you?! Well as I started to talk to him about this first initial check I had to send I he looked at me and asked my how much it was. So I told him. He looked at me and said " That is exactly how much I decided I was going to support you." I tried to refuse my dad's check, it was a pride thing at first. Then it hit me " HELLO JACKIE, God is providing for you right here and you aren't even taking...Humble yourself a bit and accept what the Lord is offering you." So, I humbly let my dad write the check for me. Since then the Lord has been providing in little ways. Like people donating supplies for me to make thing for my Etsy Shop and a flood of people praying for me. It's incredible to see this unfold and it has just started. I can't wait to see how the rest of this journey pans out.

A few prayer request:

1) That I wouldn't be so prideful that I wouldn't miss the moments that God is trying to provide for me
2) That I will be faithful with the time and resources I have been given
3) A humble heart and a heart of gratitude towards those who are willing to partner with me
